Alumni Legacy Scholarship
The Lake Catholic Alumni Association (LCAA) has established a general scholarship for a student who is a legacy of a Lake Catholic alumnus. An award will be made to an incoming freshman for the 2010-2011 academic year. The award may be renewed three times, as long as: the recipient has a 3.0 GPA, is a student in good standing and meets with the scholarship committee at the conclusion of the school year. The scholarship will be awarded in September 2010, at the first regular meeting of the Lake Catholic Alumni Association for the 2010-2011 school year. Consideration for this award will be based on the applicant’s academic performance as well as the information provided in response to this application. Receipt of other awards or assistance will not discount this application.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicant must be a child or legal ward of a graduate of Lake Catholic High School. Incoming student must be accepted for admission, and subsequently attend Lake Catholic High School. The student must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average based on a 4.0 scale (A = 4.0). For incoming freshmen, 7th and 8th grade GPA will be used.
Instruction for Applicants
Please review all requirements as you complete this form. Completed forms and all accompanying letters and essays must be received by the Alumni Office at Lake Catholic High School prior to close of business on March 31, 2010. The LCAA Scholarship Committee may contact finalists for interview before April 30, 2010.
