35 Years - We're just getting started!
Let's be honest here - the other Lake Catholic graduating classes might think they are the best class - but we know we are the best! The perfect 10-0 football season, our "break all the rules" spirit rallies, the ridiculous talent shows, the awesome Godspell production, the teachers playing hoops against the Cleveland Browns, sunning in the Courtyard. And oh yeah (sorry 1974) - the first class ever to go through the new building for all four years! Like our Senior Prom slogan said - "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet!".
A bunch of us thought it might be fun to catch up, and let's face it - any reason to get out and party at our age is a good thing. We are just old enough to appreciate that life is too short, and we have stories to tell!
Where: Cappelli's Comfort Inn (our own party room, and hotel rooms for the out-of-towners)
When: Friday, August 20th from 7:00 - 11:00pm (then will move next door to Billy's Martini Bar patio)
Cost: $28 per person, or $55 per couple (we really did our best to keep this affordable and low key)
What: Heavy appetizers, door prizes, beer/wine/soft drinks included (hard liquor drinks - cash bar)
Dress: Casual

As part of our 30th Lake Catholic Reunion, members of the Class of 1980 are holding a benefit for fellow classmate, Scott Hassel at The Hooley House Sports Pub & Grill in Mentor.
Scott grew up in Chardon; attended St. Mary's Elementary and Lake Catholic High School, graduating 1980. Scott was an active Cougar, representing the wrestling and football teams and participated in many Lake Catholic activities.
In January 2009, Scott suffered a traumatic life threatening accident that required emergency spinal surgery. The accident left Scott paralyzed from his chest down, giving him only the ability of utilizing one quarter of his body. Scott is classified as a ‘T5' complete paraplegic. But just like on the football field and the wrestling mat, Scott is a fighter! He has endured countless hours of physical and occupational therapy and is finally getting his life back. To make his independence complete Scott needs a vehicle equipped to meet his physical needs.
Our goal is to promote and raise funds to purchase and modify a vehicle to make Scott's goal of independence a reality.
To make this possible, we're asking you and our fellow Lake Catholic classmates for help! Through your generous efforts we truly believe that we can make this a reality.

That hot jock? That loveable geek? That prince or princess? That Prom King? That brainy nerd? That Homecoming Queen? That class clown? That drama queen? That Flock-of-Seagulls guy? That preppy chick? That popular cheerleader? That average Joe?
Put down the bifocals, shine up your dome, pull up the Spanx – and start making arrangements to attend the Lake Catholic Class of '85 25-Year Reunion. The event is quite casual; offering cocktails with friends on one of the best patio bars in Lake County. We'll have a small room reserved inside the Firehouse, but most of the action will be on the patio. Please RSVP to one of the committee members (below). For out-of-town classmates – hotel and transportation information is also available from committee members.
Make a reunion weekend out of it by attending the LC Alumni Golf Classic being held on Friday. (online registration HERE) Post-outing, on Friday evening, our destination is Longo's Pizza on Mentor Ave in Mentor. There is a bar area in the back of the pizzeria.

Saturday, August 14, 2010 – Reunion event at Bistro 70 in Painesville. Bistro 70 is owned and operated by Keith Koenig (LCHS Class of '91)
+ 6 p.m. – Drinks
+ 7 p.m. - Dinner
+ We're doing food stations; not sit down
+ We'll have our own private area
+ We'll have 80's / 90's music playing

It's official!
The Lake Catholic High School Class of 2000 will be hosting its reunion Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Panini's in Willoughby on Euclid Ave beginning at 7:00 PM.
