"Lake Catholic students are required to demonstrate academic integrity in the submission of course assignments and projects. This integrity includes students properly crediting the ideas, words, data or diagrams of other people that are used in research assignments or projects. The use of someone else's paper, words or ideas from resources such as texts, journals, websites without proper documentation, is considered dishonest and is called plagiarism."
(Lake Catholic Student-Parent Handbook, 2008-2009).
