Lake Catholic High School operates under a student-centered educational model that embraces holistic education. Student-centered learning focuses on each student's interests, abilities, and learning styles, placing the teacher as a facilitator of learning. Based in part on the educational philosophy of Saint Thomas Aquinas, holistic education addresses all the needs of the student: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Both philosophies ensure that the students know we care about their academic achievement and individual growth.
Lake Catholic High School will strive to educate students in the model of our patron, St. Thomas Aquinas, by preparing its students, faculty and staff to create a culture that embodies love of knowledge, love of persons, and love of God.
