Mr. Robert Kumazec

A native Clevelander, Mr. Kumazec studied English at John Carroll University and earned his Master’s degree in Education Administration from Ursuline College.  He has taught both English and Theology at Lake Catholic while also leading the Boys Kairos Retreat. He believes working in education is a vocation, and that loving what you do each day is one of the greatest gifts from God.  Mr. Kumazec does his best to help the students achieve their goals and be successful in all that they do.


Mrs. Ann Ulrich
Assistant Principal of Academics

Mrs. Ulrich earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Drexel University. After over twenty years in education, the highlight of her day remains seeing the smiling faces of the students as they are engaged in their day-to-day learning.  Supporting teachers as they set students up for success in our faith-infused environment is her number one goal as an administrator here at Lake Catholic.


Mrs. Ashley Medve
Administrative Assistant to the Principal

Mrs. Medve earned her B.A.  in Communications from the University of Dayton. She previously worked for the Cleveland Clinic and Hathaway Brown School. Being a product of Catholic education herself, she is excited to be at Lake Catholic. 


Mr. Charles Fuller
Instructional Coach

Mr. Fuller wears many hats at Lake Catholic. In addition to his Instructional Coach position, he is also the moderator of National Honors Society, coordinator of the school's SAT and ACT Prep program, and a Social Studies teacher. He earned a B.A. from John Carroll University and a Master's in Education Administration from Ursuline College. He is a 10th generation Clevelander committed to education and working to improve the lives of young people in the Greater-Cleveland Area. 


Mr. Eric Lakia

Mr. Lakia is a native of Leroy, Ohio. He studied Physical Education at Ashland University and received his Master’s in Education from Lake Erie College.   What he enjoys most about his job is helping students every day to achieve their potential and educational goals.  


Mrs. Susan Gehring
Receptionist/Textbook Clerk

Mrs. Gehring has lived in Lake County her entire life and both of her children graduated from Lake Catholic. She has been an employee of Lake Catholic since 2006.  She absolutely loves the daily interaction with the students, parents, faculty and staff that allow her passion for her Cougar Family to SHINE.
