Placement Exam for Current 8th Graders
This year, Lake Catholic will be offering the OLSAT 8 as our placement exam. The exam will be one hour long, offered in-person at Lake Catholic. The exam may be taken on any of the dates listed below for scholarship consideration, and sign-up is available through the Lake Catholic website. Scholarships will be awarded to top scorers. Students can opt to take their placement exam as part of their shadow day, and still be considered for scholarships as long as it is on or before November 9, 2022. Let the Admissions department know if you would like this option.
The test is available for current 8th graders only. The test must be taken at Lake Catholic to be considered for scholarship & can only be taken one time.
The Placement Exam is not a requirement for students seeking admission.
Dates:
- Tuesday, September 27 at 5p
- Thursday, October 13 at 6p
- Saturday, October 22 at 930a AND 1130a
- Tuesday, October 25 at 5p
- Wednesday, November 9 at 6p
Parents: There will be informational sessions regarding our school and the admissions process during your child’s exam here at school, which you are welcome to attend!
Cost of the exam: $20
Scholarship recipients will be notified in early December!
