  • Performing Arts Craft Fair

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation the difficult decision has been made to cancel the 2020 craft fair fundraiser benefitting the Lake Catholic Performing Arts Boosters. We did not come to this decision lightly and feel the disappointment as much as our dedicated crafters, vendors, and patrons but your health and safety as well as that of everyone involved is our top priority. Crafters and vendors who had a table in 2019 will have priority registration for the 2021 show before registration is opened up to new vendors. If you were a vendor in 2019 but have not been receiving email updates, please email your information to lccraftfair@gmail.com to be sure you are apart of future communications. Rest assured this is just a bump in the road and the 35 year tradition will continue next year better and stronger than ever and those cheesy potatoes will have never tasted so good!

Please consider supporting our alternate fundraiser of discount cards for this year in lieu of the craft fair. The cost is $20 per card and provides discounts to over 20 different restaurants in the Lake County area. Contact Jennifer Bretz at jbretz@lakecatholic.org through September 30 to order your card or stop in the school spirit store during regular business hours.

A 19-year-old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father. It looks like an open-and-shut cast....until one of the jurors begins opening the others' eyes to the facts. It should not be made personal, but personal it becomes. In turn each juror reveals his or her own character as the various testimonies are re-examined, the murder re-enacted, and a new murder threat is born before your eyes. Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the jurors become 12 angry people. The jurors' final verdict and how they reach it through tense scenes and altercations will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Accused of murder, Roxie is sent to death row where she meets up with other merry murderesses who all feel justified in their actions because “he had it coming!” Among the cell block Betties we meet Velma Kelly, a jazz star, also accused of murder but using her new found fame to further her singing career. With the help of top criminal attorney Billy Flynn and his own agenda for acclaim, Roxie and Velma vie for the spotlight and the headlines and ultimately join forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune, and acquittal.
