Ministry

Prayer

As a Catholic community, we know that prayer is the basis of our relationship with Jesus Christ. As part of our mission of forming young men and young women in the joy of knowing Christ, we offer diverse prayer experiences and invitations to praying with the Church. With a robust retreat program and opportunities to be leaders in our school’s prayer life, every student graduates having been offered an encounter with Jesus in the Sacraments, in informal prayer, and in formal prayer services.

  • Music Ministry

A great way to actively participate in our school masses and prayer services is to SING! This ministry is open to everyone in our school - and it is a wonderful way to get involved!

  • Peer Ministry

Our senior students are paired with freshman students throughout the year to reinforce our Lake Catholic core values and traditions. This monthly "connection" provides our younger students with exemplary role models, prayer opportunities, and small group discussions.

  • Prayer Requests

Prayer and Liturgy are the center of Lake Catholic life. There are many opportunities for you to join in prayer, both individually and in groups, as we continue through our school year. You are always invited and encouraged to participate in the many Mass and Prayer opportunities in our school community. Everyone is invited to submit prayer requests at any time. Requests can be submitted via email to prayerrequests@lakecatholic.org.
  • Society of the Little Flower

Inspired by the example of St. Therese the Little Flower, this student group promotes acts of kindness throughout the school and greater community. Letters and cards are created and delivered to the sick and grieving, and projects are coordinated for those in need. This focus area makes a profound difference in our community by implementing one small act at a time.
