President's Message
 Dear Lake Catholic and Friends,
Welcome to Lake Catholic High School, the only fully accredited Catholic high school in Lake County. I'm excited to know that you are visiting our website to learn more about us. I invite you to follow-up by attending an event or making a personal visit. If you are a prospective student, I hope to see you at one of our upcoming open houses as well.
On this website and in person when you visit, you will notice some things about Lake Catholic that are important. First and foremost, we are a Catholic school, and that guides how we do things. When we work together on service projects or conduct team practices or participate in the best class discussions you will ever witness, Lake Catholic's mission and core values are always evident.
We bring together the finest teachers and coaches, the newest technology, and top-notch facilities. As you walk through the doors, you'll see students relaxing, studying and enjoying the school day in our beautiful, modern Atrium. You might see them browsing the Internet on one of our wireless laptops or on an iPad, or grabbing a snack from the Cougar Cafe, or working in our organic garden. In the library you might see students reading the latest New York Times bestseller on a Nook or getting help forming verbs in Latin, Spanish, French, German or even Mandarin Chinese--all languages we teach and which you can study here!
After school our students choose from a long list of championship athletic teams to join as well as one of the most impressive lists of extracurricular clubs and activities available this side of college! Nearly all of our students are involved in some activity away from the classroom, and they will often tell you it's one of the best parts of being a Cougar.
And no matter who you are, we will also help you develop your creative side. There's good reason for nurturing your creativity too--studies show that creative skills will be the most marketable just about the time today's students hit the job market. From law to medicine, from education to urban planning, creative approaches to findings solutions are winning fans everywhere. Students at Lake learn how to master these skills and put them to good use. They learn how to be successful.
So come in! As a new student you will see things that will excite you; as one of our awesome alumni you will proudly celebrate our latest progress. Together, we will continue to make Lake Catholic High School the best possible place for you to be today! Lake Catholic is filled accredited by North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA-CASI), a division of AdvancEd, and by the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association (OCSAA). We're always getting even better!
