AVI Food Systems

AVI is looking for several new part-time team members to help feed our students in the upcoming school year! Most of our food service staff have family ties to Lake Catholic students and are a great group with whom you can work.

Previous food, retail, or service work is helpful, but not a requirement.

Technology Coordinator

Founded in 1970, Lake Catholic High School is a coeducational comprehensive high school with a college preparatory emphasis. Lake Catholic is committed to educating young men and women of diverse means and ability throughout Northeast Ohio. With a population of roughly 500 students in grades nine through twelve, Lake Catholic High School emphasizes spiritual growth in the Catholic Faith as students learn, work, and serve.

Position Overview

As an integral member of the Lake Catholic High School technology team, the Technology Coordinator is responsible for working with the Director of Technology & Innovation to ensure the systems is always functioning. The position requires some experience in managing Chromebooks, troubleshooting technology errors, and a willingness to learn.  The Technology Coordinator runs point with the Technology & Innovation department to work with faculty, staff, students, and parents to provide technology assistance when needed.  Collaborative experience in STEM lab resources and equipment is also a plus.

Position Requirements

Technology
  • Administer the Chromebook 1:1 program in accordance with state and school protocols.
  • Manage the repairs needed and claims filed for technology in the building.
  • Assist with maintaining databases and Student Information Systems.
  • Experience in completing work within a server to establish new employee connections.
Process
  • Conduct and audit the technology equipment and resources in the building.
  • Forecast building needs for technology
  • Aid in the administration of technology licensing
  • Familiarity with Web Design concepts and streaming
People
  • Maintain a level of confidentiality with sensitive issues
  • Adaptable in managing other technology related projects as assigned
  • Capable of working with differing internal clients with vastly different technology needs
  • Possess a strong commitment to the values, mission and ministry of the Diocese of Cleveland and the Catholic Church
     

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science
  • Experience managing SIS and Administration Panels.
  • Must be proficient in computer processing applications.
  • Flexibility to work some nights or weekends (as needed).
  • Self-starter with an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A desire to learn and build with the 1:1 program at Lake Catholic High School.
  • Bachelor’s, Google Certified, or Experience with Education Technology is a plus.
