REPORTS TO: Transportation Coordinator
Founded in 1970, Lake Catholic High School is a coeducational comprehensive high school with a college preparatory emphasis. Due to significant growth in enrollment, we are adding new teaching positions for the upcoming school year to support our expanding student body. Essential Job Functions
- Safely transport students to and from school-related activities, athletic events, field trips, and other approved destinations using a school-owned van.
- Follow all traffic laws, school policies, and Diocese of Cleveland transportation guidelines at all times.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle environment for students.
- Supervise students during transport to ensure appropriate behavior and safety.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with school administrators, coaches, staff, and students.
- Adhere to assigned schedules and demonstrate flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments.
- Represent Lake Catholic High School positively within the community.
- Complete other related duties as assigned by the principal or designee.
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a passenger van. Prior experience driving students is preferred but not required.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Ability to interact positively with high school students and school staff.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Lake Catholic High School and the Diocese of Cleveland.
- Must successfully pass FBI and BCI background checks and complete the Diocese of Cleveland VIRTUS program.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire filling the role of part-time Food Service Worker at Lake Catholic. This position will NOT work weekends, late nights or early mornings or any holidays. Work when the children are at school.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and serving daily meals in accordance with menu guidelines
- Set up and maintain food stations for breakfast and lunch service
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels as directed
- Provide friendly, courteous service to students, staff, and visitors
Qualifications
- Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

- As a member of the school faculty, the science instructor will be responsible for teaching science classes as assigned by the principal.
- Implement the curriculum in accordance with the standards set forth by the Diocese of Cleveland and the Ohio Department of Education.
- Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for special education students according to Individual Education Plans (IEP).
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and critical thinking.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary approaches to teaching history.
- Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and other events throughout the year.
- Maintain a safe and effective learning environment.
- Provide outstanding and engaging instruction to students.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (master’s preferred but not required).
- 7-12 integrated science teaching certification through the Ohio Department of Education or a non-tax teaching certificate
- Strong commitment to the mission of the Diocese of Cleveland and the Catholic Church.
- Prior experience teaching similarly aged students is preferred, but not required.
