Diversity Club

The Diversity Club is an incredible initiative that fosters understanding and appreciation of various cultures within our Lake Catholic community. 

One of the key objectives of the club is to break down stereotypes and misconceptions by inviting members to share their personal experiences and knowledge about their cultures. This creates a safe space where individuals can feel valued and respected while contributing to a richer cultural dialogue. 

In addition to discussions, we play games, which promote teamwork and interaction. The club may also organize cultural showcases where members can share traditional food, music, and clothing from their cultures. This not only enhances the learning experience but also allows members to engage their senses and create lasting memories. 

We not only have conversations, but we have movie nights. The movie nights offer a unique approach to cultural exploration. By selecting films that highlight specific cultures, the club provides a visual storytelling experience that can spark deeper conversations and insights. Films often capture the nuances of cultural experiences in ways that discussions alone may not fully encompass, making them a powerful educational tool.
