The Lake Catholic Cooking Club is a fun way to meet with classmates after school, cook a variety of dishes, and gain skills in the kitchen.
Planning menus, prepping food, cooking, eating, and cleaning up together are part of our monthly gatherings. No prior experience is necessary, as students work together and benefit from all students' skill levels.
Planning meetings last about 30 minutes, once a month, and cooking meetings last about an hour, also once a month, in the Foods Room (No. 204). Meeting times vary based on member availability and may fluctuate as the year progresses and schedules allow.
We typically make two recipes (entrée & dessert) at each cooking meeting. Talk to Mrs. Gainar if you have questions or would like to join the club and be added to our Google Classroom group.
