Why Join the Golf Team?

“The Lake Catholic Girls Golf Team quickly became a second family to me. The team provided endless support on and off the golf course through victories and during challenging times. This team taught me the value of perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Being a part of the Golf Team not only improved my golf game but created lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be member of the Lake Catholic Girls Golf Team.” – Lauren Olenik (Class of 2023)

Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Tony Zampedro

Coaching Philosophy: “I will give each golfer the opportunity to become the type of player they wish to become through practice and playing matches. I view 9-hole matches as a chance for each team member to get experience in playing competitive golf but it is 18-hole golf tournaments where we measure the strength of the team and the performance of individual team members. Golf team members will not have to play competitively until both I think they are ready and they also think they are ready.”
