Transportation

Students attending Lake Catholic High School may be eligible for public school transportation or reimbursement from their public-school district of residence. Questions regarding the availability and use of public-school bus transportation should be directed to the local public school’s district office.

Lake Catholic High School provides a fee-based van service to neighboring communities where public-school transportation is not available. Several levels of service are available. Current riders are contacted each spring to assess their need for transportation for the following school year. Incoming students can register for transportation during their registration appointment or through the Admissions Department. Questions about van routes and fees should be directed to the school’s finance office. 

Lake Catholic Van / Bus Transportation

In most areas where public school district transportation is not available (Riverside, Perry, Painesville City, etc.), Lake Catholic provides transportation between centralized stops in Lake, Geauga, and Cuyahoga counties and Lake Catholic High School. Please note that this service is not intended to be door-to-door transportation. The cost varies depending on the service needed. Routes, times, and pick-up locations are determined according to need and are finalized in early August each year. Transportation is provided on a first come, first served basis with priority given to full-year riders. Public School Transportation

Students residing in the Mentor, Kirtland, and Willoughby Eastlake school districts are transported to Lake Catholic by their school district’s buses. Public school district transportation can be arranged by contacting the school district’s transportation department.

Campus Parking and Carpooling

Many of our students arrive by car and/or ride in a carpool. Parking passes for our lot are available at a cost of $70 and can be purchased in the Spirit Store.
