1980s

John Clinger (‘84) passed away on November 17, 2025

Steve Patt (‘85) started a new position as an accounting controller at Ericson Manufacturing.

Bob Sadler (‘85) recently started his new job as Executive Director at Deo Gratias Ministries Detroit, a nonprofit that serves an east side neighborhood with a weekday cafe, food pantry, child tutoring, a community garden and more in partnership with the Felician Sisters.

1990s

Melissa Taddeo Bogo ('99) will open her own pilates studio - Rooted & Rising Pilates - on Monday, November 24. The studio will be located at 8500 Station St. Suite 222. More information can be found at www.rootedandrisingpilates.com

Paul Tesar (‘99), Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s professor and director of the Institute for Glial Sciences, partnered with inventor and philanthropist Thomas Peterson on a mission to conquer multiple sclerosis (MS). Their shared vision is accelerating with a $2.5 million commitment from the Thomas F. Peterson Jr. Charitable Trust to support pioneering research into neurological diseases. Read full story here.

2010s

Hannah Oster (‘11) married Brian Burkett on November 8, 2025 at Divine Word Church. Hannah’s sisters Kara (‘13) and Julia (‘25) were her maids of honor, while her brother, Derek (‘09) was a groomsman. Congratulations Hannah and Brian!

Ivicia Miljak (‘12) was named the recipient of The Kim Mahoney Award, which is an annual honor presented by the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (OSSCA). The award is given to a high school girls soccer coach who exemplifies ethics, sportsmanship, character, and leadership. Miljak coached Mayfield High School to both the Western Reserve Conference and a Division II district championships.

Ashley Buzzanca (‘14) has started a new position as Collections Manager at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland.

Lexi Stewart (‘16) married Jack Cooper last weekend. Shannon Stewart (‘11) served as the Matron of Honor, but several other Lake Catholic alumni were a part of the wedding party - Jakie Rubino (‘16), Payton Del Freo (‘17), Dillon Stewart (‘11) and Kevin Bak (‘18). Congratulations Lexi and Jack!

Lauren Resetar (‘17) married Nick D’Angelo (‘17) on Saturday, October 25 at St. John Vianney. Lauren’s sisters Nicole (‘16) and Taylor (‘20) were her Maids of Honor, while Nick’s brother Sam (‘16) served as his Best Man. Natalie D’Angelo (‘20), Taylor (Sharrits) Borkey (‘17), Maddie Slowey (‘17), Eddie Walsh (‘17), Josh Corbin (‘17), and Ryan Borkey (‘17) were all a part of the wedding party as well. Congratulations Lauren and Nick!

Rachel Rogowski (‘17) was recently engaged to Anthony Tutolo. Congratulations Rachel and Anthony!

2020s

Alexis Pacheco-Rodriguez (‘22) accepted a position in KeyBank’s Risk Management Rotational Analyst Program.

John O’Keeffe (‘22) was recently engaged to Lauren McNeill. Congratulations John and Lauren! 

Nick Pisano (‘23) has accepted an offer to join KeyBank as a Corporate Real Estate Design & Construction Intern for Summer 2026. 

Nick Brandt (‘23) will be joining Harrison Street Asset Management as a Summer Intern on the Asset Management team in their Chicago office. 

Mia Schaefer (‘24), a sophomore volleyball player at Niagara University, was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference’s libero of the week.

Katie Sowko (‘24), a sophomore volleyball player at Wright State University, was named second team All-Horizon League. 

Marko Odorcic (‘24) was named the Horizon League’s Offensive Player of the Week in men's soccer. Odorcic had two goals for Wright State in its 4-2 win over Milwaukee.
