Joe Monahan ('81) recently announced that after 34 years he's leaving Meister Media Worldwide, where is was most recently the President and COO. He is leaving to launch his new venture, Rural Traction Network, a marketing and digital services company focused on connecting businesses to rural America.

Ken Brickman (Class of 1999) passed away Oct. 22, 2024 at Holy Family Hospice.
He was born July 28, 1981 in Mayfield Hts.. Ken worked in Human Resources for The Center for Employment Opportunities.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1030a at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willowick. Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery.
Missy Spahar ('10) was inducted into John Carroll University's Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, October 18.
According to the John Carroll Athletic Hall of Fame website, "Melissa "Missy" Spahar etched her name as one of the all-time greats in the history of the JCU women's basketball program. Elected into the Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility, Spahar finished her career as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,901 points and rebounder with 912 boards. As a senior in 2013-14, she averaged a JCU-record 25.2 points per game while also averaging 9.2 rebounds per game and helped lead the Blue Streaks to their first-ever OAC regular season title and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance. For her efforts, Spahar collected WBCA All-American, D3hoops.com Second Team All-American, D3hoops.com First Team All-Region and Helen Ludwig OAC Player of the Year honors and was a WBCA Player of the Year finalist while becoming just the second All-American in program history along with former teammate and fellow Hall of Famer Lee Jennings. As a junior in 2013, Spahar earned Second Team All-OAC honors and was an All-OAC Honorable Mention selection as a freshman and sophomore."

Congratulations to William (Billy) Skoch ('17) on being awarded Crain's Cleveland Business 20 In Their 20s 2004 award!
Skoch, who graduated from Holy Cross College in 2021, is an Investment Sales Associate at Marcus & Millichap.
He started at Marcus & Millichap in December of 2021 as an agent candidate and became an associate in May of 2022. According to the article, Skoch specializes in brokering health care real estate.
"One of the best things about being in this industry, especially when you're so young, is you really have nothing to lose, but you have everyting to gain between knowledge and experience," Skoch said in the article. "It's a great place for a young person to be, especially if you're motivated and willing to learn and willing to put in the hours."
