Frequently Asked Questions

All new students are issued a Chromebook at the beginning of the school year to support learning both in the classroom and at home. These devices provide access to digital textbooks, assignments, educational applications, and online resources that are essential for daily instruction. Students are expected to bring their Chromebook to school each day fully charged and to use it responsibly in accordance with school technology policies. The Chromebook program helps ensure that every student has equal access to the tools needed for academic success.

Please see this link to the Chromebook policy.

Yes, there is a $350 enrollment fee that can be paid with a credit card online through the enrollment packet.

If you decide after registration that you no longer wish to attend Lake Catholic, please contact the Admissions office at 440-578-1020, ext. 2, to notify them of your decision to withdraw your acceptance. They will remove your student from the Class of 2030, allowing their spot to be available for another potential incoming student. The enrollment fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded to you.

Yes, you can make changes. Contact the Business Office at 440-578-1020, ext. 3 to make those changes.

Yes, everyone must select a payment plan even if their scholarships and financial aid cover their tuition. The business office needs a tuition account for every student to credit EdChoice, scholarships and Grant and Aid that may have been awarded. Choose a plan that does not have any fees. It can be changed at a later date if necessary.

If you think you will need to utilize Lake Catholic transportation, please indicate that in your enrollment packet. There is a fee for this service over and above the cost of tuition. Transportation fills up fast, so it is better to request it and remove it later if you no longer wish to use Lake Catholic transportation.

  • Yearly Round Trip $1200

  • One Semester Round Trip $750
  • One Semester AM or PM only $550

If you have any questions about Lake Catholic transportation, please contact transportation@lakecatholic.org.

Routes, bus stop locations and pick-up/drop-off times will be communicated to families this summer once we know how many people need transportation and where they live.

If you live in the Mentor, Willoughby-Eastlake, or Kirtland school districts, your school district will provide transportation to Lake Catholic as part of your designated public school. You will need to alert the district of your request by going to the transportation website of your assigned school district to fill out the "Transportation Request for Non-Public and Private Schools," or to contact their transportation coordinator. This must be completed by June 1, 2026.
